Sportsbook Review of LasPalmas

2006/11/22 - Review by Ira Nanson

LasPalmas was founded in 2001 by Horizon Twenty S.A. and so far they have maintained a stable and professional reputation.

Book to Book Money transfers can be done between sister sites AutoBet, BetCanadian, EHorse and ParlayCardz, and ehorsex.

The sign up process is quick and easy and perhaps one of the easiest books I've ever registered with.

The LasPalmas website is easy to navigate and the overall performance is passable however the speed is quite deficient, in-fact most complaints are generated from customers who cannot get their bets in especially during crunch time because the site is just too slow.

The sporting events are limited to football, basketball, baseball, hockey, golf, soccer, boxing, tennis and nascar. The wager types are pretty much standard too and include sides, totals, money lines, run lines, parlays 2-10 teams, teasers 2-6 teams, buy points, reverses, futures, props and half time.

In-fact the LasPalmas sportsbook is rather mediocre but they do have a betting exchange that can be accessed at ehorse and ehorsex. Some people compare it to playing on the stock market but it’s complicated and probably should be left to the experts.

Minimum wager online is $2 and the maximum is $500.

For phone wagers the minimum is $20 and the maximum is $1000 depending on the sport.

The horsebook at LasPalmas is non pari mutual, pays full track odds and offers more than 75 thoroughbred and harness tracks.

Other features include a sports news section, live lines, live scores and a casino that provides over 15 games.

The customer service agents are extremely friendly and can be contacted 24/7 via live chat, email and telephone.

LasPalmas is a small book that caters mainly to recreational and small bettors and according to the lack of complaints it seems the customers are pretty much satisfied and/or the problem is just so small it’s not worth reporting.
