Bookmaker Review of Canbet
2006/11/21 - Update by Brian Taylor
Effective November 30th, players that reside in the USA will no longer be able to gain access to place sports and casino bets at Canbet.
The blocking of players from the USA is a result of Canbet's response to the recent Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006.

Canbet is a wholy owned subsidiary of Global Gaming and Wagering Company 'International All Sports Limited' (IAS). IAS was established in 1995 and is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, subject to independent audit and is licensed in both the United Kingdom and Australia.
The web layout contains no flashing banners, the format is simple and clear with easy to read font, a true blessing for those of us who sometimes struggle with our naked eyes.
Overall they have some really great qualities:
Not only do Canbet offer overnight lines they are also famous for being the first to post their next day lines.
Tempted yet? Then you should also check out the large selection of bonuses and promotions currently offered.
By the way....all bettors are welcome including squares, high rollers, bookies and sharps.
I do have one grievance however, customer support is supposedly 24/7 via live chat, telephone and email but unfortunately I didn't receive a response via any of those methods. Thankfully however the site does contain a well informed help and rules section. Nonetheless, I am confident my experience is not indicative of their normal standard.
Other customer complaints relate to limited lines and the Thursday reload bonus which is not automated and requires multiple requests to customer service to get it credited.
Essentially these guys have been around a long time and despite the minor criticisms they do provide a safe betting environment, low juice and are most respected in the online gaming industry.
One thing is for sure...you'll be glad that you put Canbet at the top of your list of online bookmakers !
