Bookmaker Review of PremierBet
2007/01/14 - Review by Ira Nanson

PremierBet is a UK registered book that was launched on the eve of World Cup Football 2002 by Tony Bloom whose mission was to specialize in football / leagues and Asian Handicap betting online.

Tony Bloom started out as a professional gambler and despite a few knock backs he made a good living from beating the bookies. Victor Chandler decided to reduce the odds however and offered him a job working on the Asian Handicap markets in Bangkok which Bloom gladly accepted and gained valuable knowledge learning the other side of the business before deciding to go it alone.

When he is not booking bets, Tony is playing poker and is now considered one of the UK's leading players known commonly as "The Lizard". Most recently he clinched a major victory when he won the 2004 Australian Poker Championship in Melbourne.

Surprisingly however poker is not available at PremierBet but other features include casino, games and mobile wagering.

PremierBet offer competitive odds especially on the major UK and European football games. American sports are also covered plus, boxing, cricket, cycling, darts, golf, ice hockey, motor sports, rugby league / union, snooker, tennis, greyhound and horse racing including the ante post markets.

Bet types include a wide range of traditional fixed odds, Asian handicaps, totals, outrights and specials.

Various options are available to fund your account including credit / debit cards, cheques, bank transfer, Western Union, NETeller, MoneyWorld, Moneybookers and Click2Pay.

PremierBet accepts currencies in GPB, USD, EUR, HKD and SGD.

The minimum deposit for all methods is £5 or equivalent.

Generous promotions and bonus offers are available but most are only redeemable pending the outcome of the event wagered on. Full details can be obtained from the website.

Customer service only operates from 8am - 8pm (GMT/BST) via email and telephone. For telephone bettors there is a separate free phone number provided on the website.

Residents of Malta and the United States are not permitted to deposit funds or wager at PremierBet.

PremierBet are always seeking to improve their website and in a short period of time they have established a good reputation in the United Kingdom.

The company is listed on the London Stock Exchange in one of the most regulated jurisdictions in the world so customers can bet with confidence at PremierBet.
